Queer

Universities are not a space separate from society, but always a reflection of it. Heteronormative views still prevail, even in academia. What we imagine:

Strengthening contact points: Although universities have a working group for equal treatment, it is mostly unknown. We want it to become better known so that it can provide a contact point for all those affected by discrimination.

Unisex toilets: Even going to the toilet can be an ordeal for many people. It must be possible to go to the toilet without having to submit to binary categories.

Free choice of names and pronouns: Especially for genderqueer people, the wrong name or pronoun can lead to forced outing. We therefore want to give all students the opportunity to change this themselves.
