We have been campaigning for good cycle paths to the university and bike service stations on campus for some time now. We were particularly vocal about this in the summer semester of 2023, when the only bike repair station on campus at the time was broken. Through our (Mia’s) involvement in the ÖH JKU Climate Department, we stayed on top of this issue. Since then, the university has been working on it and has set up several bike service stations. Now you can inflate your tyres and repair your bike opposite the canteen by the bike racks, opposite the entrance to the LIT Open Innovation Center (OIC) and by the bike racks between Science Park 1 and 2 directly on the glass wall under the roof! If you scan the QR on the service stations, you will find instructions on how to use them!
