As VSStÖ, we were able to negotiate with the Ministry of Education that the ÖH canteen bonus will be doubled from one to two euros from the 2024 winter semester. Have you already been able to save the €2?🌹
The canteen bonus is available once a day in the JKU, KHG, Raabheim or University of Arts Mensa. Important: you have to click on ‘Apply’ under ‘Personal data’ in the ‘ÖH Mensa bonus’ tab in KUSSS and then insert your student ID card at a service point to activate everything.
Why is there actually an ÖH canteen bonus? The canteen bonus is a support for students to keep food affordable and to enable social participation in the canteen. The ÖH canteen bonus is paid for by the ÖH and subsidised by the Ministry of Education and the province of Upper Austria.
